Spanish Cake

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup butter
2 eggs, separated
3 tsp baking powder
1 3/4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp cinnamon
DIRECTIONS

Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and beat well. Mix baking powder and flour. Add to butter/sugar/egg mixture alternately with milk. Add stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in a 10 inch square pan at 350 degrees for 40 minutes, or until nicely browned.

Note: This recipe may not sound too exciting, but it is very tasty.
