Sheath Cake

INGREDIENTS

Cake:

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 cubes butter
4 Tbl Cocoa
1 cup water
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla

Icing:

1 cube butter
4 Tbl cocoa
6 Tbl milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup milk
DIRECTIONS

Cake:

In a large mixing bowl mix together 2 cups flour and 2 cups sugar. Melt in pan and bring to boiling the following: 2 cubes butter, 4 Tbl cocoa, and 1 cup water. Pour over flour and sugar and mix well. Mix in 1/4 cup buttermilk, 2 eggs, 1tsp baking soda, and 1 tsp vanilla. Pour into jellyroll pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Icing:

Mix together 1 cube butter, 4 Tbl cocoa, 6 Tbl milk. Bring to boil and add 1 box powdered sugar, 1tsp vanilla, and 1 cup milk. Mix well and spread on cake while hot. Let cool before serving.
